About the organisation

SNL is a student-led youth organisation in Linz, created in answer to the need for meaningful cultural and educational interaction among the city’s international and local students. We foster intercultural understanding, educational exchange and active participation through non-formal education, peer learning and international cooperation.

02

Experience & capacity

Our members have taken part in Erasmus+ youth exchanges, training courses and ESC volunteering across Europe, and have planned and facilitated more than ten educational and community activities in Austria — on youth participation, sustainability, social inclusion, LGBTQIA+ awareness, volunteering, European values and digital skills. In Linz we also run campus workshops, outreach, art events, cultural dialogues and informal meetups with students from other local universities.

03

Role in projects

As partner or applicant we recruit and prepare participants, facilitate sessions, host activities in Linz and handle dissemination through our channels and member networks. Founded as an informal group at Johannes Kepler University, we had two youth projects approved before formalising as a Verein.
